Tour itinerary

  • DAY 1: 24 November, 2014 - Departure non stop (Iceland Air) from New York (JFK) at 8:00 PM

  • DAY 2: 25 November, 2014 - Arrival in Reykjavik at 6:00 AM. Bus and your guide will be awaiting for you at the airport to take you to the Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Natura (4 *). Rooms will be available as soon as possible. Remainder of the Day is at leisure.

  • DAY 3: 26 November, 2014 - Breakfast. Full sightseeing tour of Reykjavik. The tour will take place in all major parts of the city including the Old City, the Parliament, the Church Hadlgrimyura, Bay Reykjavik, National Museum, Laugardalslaug pool, Sculpture Vodonoski, Perlan Hill, Höfði which is a famous house where an agreement was signed in 1986 between the United States and Russia to put an end to the Cold War, and the city's main landmarks. Duration: 3-4 hours (end the tour at your hotel or in the city center).

  • DAY 4: 27 November, 2014 - Breakfast. Tour of the "Golden Circle of Iceland" one our most popular routes, and can be found in any Icelandic guide, tourist brochure or a set of postcards. You will learn about the history and culture of the southern part of the country and how the people who have inhabited this country managed to turn the natural wealth of the region, the hot springs into its domain. Þingvellir National Park (Þingvellir), Gutlfoss Falls (Gullfoss) and the Valley of Geysers – its something thateveryone visiting Iceland should see. Duration: 8 hours. Dinner at the hotel in honor of Thanksgiving.

  • DAY 5: 28 November, 2014 - Breakfast . Tour of the "South Coast of Iceland" by bus. The Southern Coast of Iceland is known for its agricultural land, bizarre rock formations, and glaciers. You will see the famous waterfalls in the region - Selyalandfoss (Seljalandsfoss) and Skogafoss (Skógafoss). The first one is not particularly large. It rushes down as a one thin powerful jet. Between the rock and the water flow of the waterfall there is a special path for walking, unless, of course, you are not afraid to get we . The second waterfall - Skogafoss - one of the biggest and most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland, the pride of thecountry. It has a width of 25 m and a drop height of 60 m of water. Because of the large amount of spray generated from the waterfall, during sunny and clear weather you can see a rainbow. South Beach is full of unusual rock formations. For example, rocks Dirholaey (Dyrholaey) tower in the midst of black sandy wasteland, and individual groups of rocks go far into the sea forming intricate arches . The small town of Vic (Vík), which you will visit during the tour is a very picturesque site . The town has a beach surrounded by cliffs with numerous ptichmi bazaars. Duration: 10 hours .   • DAY 6: 29 November, 2014- Breakfast. Day at leisure. Optionally, you can take various tours (prices upon request)

  • DAY 7: 30 November, 2014 - Breakfast. Transfer to the airport via the Blue Lagoon.
    Blue Lagoon - a unique geothermal spa where you can relax in the warm healing waters . This resort has long been considered one of the main symbols of Iceland and is loved by both the locals and foreign tourists . According to the legend, the healing properties in the waters of the Blue Lagoon accidentally opened one Icelandic power of energy, curing psoriasis during bathing after work. The fact is that the water streams through the cracks of the hardened lava of ancient volcanoes. It is rich in minerals, quartz, and blue green algae . Therapeutic muds of the Blue Lagoon purifies and revitalizes the skin. The seaweed softens and nourishes it. And mineral salts have therapeutic and calming effects on the entire body. The smooth clay bottom is at a depth of 1.5 m. The water temperature is around 40 º C.
